B+B SmartWorx, formerly B&B Electronics, provides intelligent M2M and IoT connectivity solutions for wireless and wired networks. The company designs and builds device connectivity and network infrastructure products that deliver intelligent connectivity at the “edge” of networks in remote and demanding environments.

After three decades of growth and over 3 million M2M connections with success stories around the world, B&B has acquired a global reputation as a manufacturer of resilient, reliable data connectivity hardware products

The emerging Industrial Internet of Things has transformed data networking, and B&B has responded to both the need — and the opportunity — to transform as a company.  A critical part of that transformation was the development of B&B’s advanced IoT technologies. These “intelligence at the network edge” platforms led the company to a new position in the Internet of Things industry and drove the decision in 2015 to change its name to B+B SmartWorx.

Conel Modular Routers

Conel modular routers can be configured for any conceivable cellular data networking application.
The Conel Bivias v2 router, for example, contains two completely independent communication modules, allowing it to make use of the infrastructure of two cellular service providers at the same time. The user, of course, defines which module will serve as the main connection and which will serve as the backup. Like the Spectre series, Conel routers provide a full range of connectivity options, connecting both LANs and individual devices using Wi-Fi, Ethernet, Modbus, RS-232/422/485 and IoT protocols.
